This is a post regarding both the inefficiency of iras and the language used.
But I dunno how to start...
ARhhh...
Ok I received a call from IRAS (make dat successfully connecting through after 2 rejects, 1 deliberately missed call as I was on the other line, 1 return call not picked up and 1 received call picked up but no response), to inform me that my COR (applied on Jan 19, stated URGENT, to be done by 31 JAN!!) will be ready on Wed or Thurs.
Like. AHEM.. AHEM AHEM!! Its already February!!
If I needed it to save a life... DIE liao lor...
Ok NVM. Bcos I KNOW the inefficiencies of governmental bodies, how useless their so-called online system are, how slow they get back to you, how frustrating their automated phone system can link you, how "helpful" their helpline are..
N i already give them wat they needed, cant they jus call me up for clarifications instead of saying, arh.. u din provide sufficient information during the "interview".

That aside, y was the whole conversation made in CHEENA!?! M I in China or Taiwan or some cheena-speaking country? Like.. HUH?? I'm SINGAPOREAN LEHHH.. Not some expat requiring cert of registry. Bugger must be not using his brain while processing. Either that or IRAS did some outsourcing to China or somewhere. More likely the 1st one.
Oh well.. Just Follow LOR (LAW)!!!
